Diwali Celebration

‘Diwali is a festival full of sweet childhood memories, a mouth full of sweets, a house full of diyas and a heart full of joy.’

Decorated with vibrant hues, the festival of lights started on a promising note at CPSI on 22nd October 22. The whole school wore a festive look. Festivals are representations of Culture, Traditions and Family ties. Understanding this inherent nature of festivals, we invited grandparents and parents to participate in several activities ranging from Storytelling sessions and Retro Dress events led by the grandparents to treasure Hunt and lantern making at the Primary level. The learners of grade 5 watched their parents proudly and sometimes shyly as they walked the ramp very sportingly. Parents of grade 6 were delightfully surprised to have their wards bonding with them while making Ranglois whereas the higher grades dished out theme based mocktails and small bites along with their parents in a Master chef kind of an event – ‘Tasteful Table Treats by Moms and Pops’

The day ended with the entire team of CPSI reliving the day fondly over games and diwali treats. The first term has ended well. We have achieved certain milestones which are the beginning to greater goals and we have made some mistakes which are lessons for us to become better and better.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali and a healthy and a productive year ahead.
