With the completion of the novel The Cat in the Hat, our young learners of grade 1 bid adieu to the characters of the story and celebrated their new found love for reading with a Cat in the Hat Activity Day on Friday, 7th October. Learners dressed as one of the characters from the story, walked the Red carpet and spoke about their reason for choosing to be the character and the role that the character played in the development of the story. They had a gala time crossing the challenging hurdles displaying the skills of body balancing like the Cat in the Hat. It was indeed a fun filled day for the tiny tots of grade 1.
