Our staff adopts a ‘high support, low pressure’ approach to helping every learner achieve more than they believed possible. Their commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of learning and enjoyment of their subject results in learners achieving outcomes which way surpass their academic trajectories. From a learner's point of entry to the school, our educators are on a mission to find and maximise their individual strengths and interests, guiding them on a journey to find their true potential.
Find out about the values that are central to how we teach below.
With an average class size of 20, we are able to differentiate teaching and learning and ensure the curriculum is tailored to each individual's needs. Not only does this benefit academic outcomes but allows our educators to provide outstanding personal care, from the point of transitioning to and settling into the school, to ongoing observation of each child’s growth, development, and welfare. Our children are noticed, their strengths challenged and their weaknesses supported.
Every learner is different, which is why we get to know and understand every child as an individual - so that we can truly tailor the teaching and learning experience to their personal needs and abilities.
Every child benefits from one-to-one support and through careful planning, monitoring and evaluating, we ensure learners are stretched and challenged to achieve their full potential.
Our active learning strategies engage learners in the learning process through activities that require them to think critically and apply knowledge, fostering deeper understanding and retention compared to passive learning methods. The fact that we have a smaller capacity of learners allows us to tailor and evolve our offering according to the interests of our learners.
